The menu at The Friendly Toast is a true celebration of brunch classics — but elevated. Signature dishes like the Chicken & Waffles showcase a crisp, Rice Krispies®-breaded fried chicken breast paired with a golden Belgian waffle, drizzled in brown sugar glaze and cinnamon maple butter, then dusted with powdered sugar and served alongside real maple syrup. Each bite is a harmonious balance of sweet, savory, and crunchy textures that make it impossible not to savor slowly. The Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito, and inventive Breakfast Egg Rolls bring bold, satisfying flavors that cater to those seeking a hearty start to their day.

For those craving something indulgent yet fresh, the Hash Quiche is an artful fusion of crispy fried hash brown bowls filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, sautéed onions, and melted jalapeno jack cheese, crowned with crema and fresh dill — visually stunning and delectably rich, served alongside a vibrant fresh fruit salad to brighten every forkful. Meanwhile, lighter options like the Sam’s Garden Omelet with spinach, broccoli, marinated tomatoes, and feta offer a garden-fresh counterpoint.

Lunch enthusiasts will find the handheld offerings equally memorable, especially the Gochujang Fried Chicken Sandwich boasting a perfect crunch fused with spicy-sweet Korean chili paste, balanced with Asian slaw and a savory everything bagel aioli that adds layers of texture and flavor. The Pastrami Sandwich features tender hot pastrami kissed with melted gruyere gouda on grilled rye, accompanied by pickles and a tangy honey mustard aioli, hitting all the right notes between smoky, creamy, and sharp.

Beverage-wise, The Friendly Toast shines with creative cocktails tailored for brunch lovers, including a tempting Mimosa Flight that allows guests to sample a variety of freshly crafted blends — a perfect complement to the vibrant flavors on the plate. The friendly, fast service and attentive staff add warmth to the experience, making every guest feel like part of the family.

Guests frequently praise the restaurant for its lively atmosphere and accommodating outdoor seating, perfect for families and groups — a sentiment echoed by Erica, who loves the friendly staff and mimosa flights, and Gina, who appreciates the kid-friendly environment and quirky décor. Merri’s glowing review highlights the personable service by staff member Haley, making the dining experience all the more memorable. We always have a lovely time here we especially enjoy the outdoor seating and lawn at this location. Good food for breakfast or lunch! You have to try a mimosa flight too! Service is always friendly and fast.

It has a nice atmosphere. There are a few entertainment options for children. The food is tasty but not amazing. The quality of service varies; some waiters are very friendly and attentive, while others don't pay much attention. So, I can't give a definitive recommendation. Overall, I would recommend this place to families with children.

Gluten-free options are available, but limited. I ordered a pancake, which was just okay—not bad, but nothing special. That said, the service and atmosphere were fantastic! I really appreciated that they welcomed our dog and let him dine with us. I just wish the food had lived up to the rest of the experience.

Just visited the Bedford Friendly Toast for the first time and it was amazing! Met my work friend for brunch and Haley took such great care of us. Haley was so funny and helpful with our order. Everything was great and I can’t wait for my next visit!

This was my first time here, on our way to the Mountains, and I really appreciated the all-day breakfast menu, always a plus! It's also great that the place is kid-friendly, which makes it a solid option for families. I sat outside and really enjoyed the patio seating; it’s nice to have that option. The décor inside was fun and quirky, with lots of interesting items hanging on the walls that gave the place a unique. The food was okay—not bad, but nothing that really stood out. I did enjoy the maple syrup, which added a nice touch to my meal. Service was good overall, though it did take a bit longer than expected. To be fair, it was quite busy around 11:00 AM, so that might have been a factor. All in all, it was a decent experience. I'd come back again, maybe to try something different on the menu or enjoy a slower time of day.

Was here for trader joes across the street and thought I might give it try and I think that was a great choice I made. The hash egg Benedict is so addictive and they perfected the poached egg. If you are fan of meat def get the steak omelette which also was good. Liked the fact that they didn’t overly season their foods. Definitely going back. Oh and the hostess was kind enough to change seats when we got a seat right in front of the door. It was a cold day and every time the door swing open cold air came in right to us lol

We went to have breakfast but I noticed the toasted pastrami sandwich with a hot pepper relish which they happily put on the side. The pepper relish was delicious but it was a bit spicy for me and I was happy to have it on the side. There was also a few waffle fries in a nice container and a big half of pickle. My friend who brought me for breakfast got her favorite that she will always get anyplace she goes was eggs benny. It was very nicely plated and she enjoyed it but she was it was good but not the best. The atmosphere was pleasant kind of retro and very nice. The booths are too close together and difficult to get in and out of as a larger person, next time I'll ask for a table and the chairs actually look more comfortable. Outside on the artificial grass I noticed there was a corn hole game, a large jenga game and a large other game but I can't remember the name right now...lol Staff were very pleasant, opening doors and just very nice. I think it was a nice place and it is definitely worth trying at least once. It could turn out to be your new must go to place

Thanks Haley for your excellent service!! We got right in, even though it was a busy Saturday morning. Food is always excellent- I love that everything is homemade and there are lots of spicy choices. Everything is always fresh, there is a diverse menu to choose from, and the atmosphere is perfect for an all day brunch place.
